Getting Connected at FBC
First Kids / Kids4Christ
First Kids is an exciting packed hour in our Children's Ministry, that meets during the Sunday Morning Worship Service time, after worshiping with their parents and the rest of the church. Your child will learn truths from God's Word and how to apply those truths to their lives!
Kids4Christ is our mid-week Children's Ministry meeting time where your kids will experience exciting worship music, interactive Bible lessons, and some game time in our church gym! This is a great way for them to stay connected to Jesus and other believers throughout a busy week!
iMPACT Youth Ministry
iMPACT Youth Ministry, students 6th-12th grade, is a place for your teen to encounter JESUS! We meet Wednesday evenings at 5:30pm-6:30pm and worship the Lord through Praise Songs, Bible Study, and Fellowship.
There are several activities iMPACT students get to experience on a regular basis, and while we have a BLAST spending time together, the focus always comes back to Jesus!
The world has so many ways of distracting and getting today's youth away from Jesus, but at iMPACT, it's ALL about HIM!
Adult Bible Studies
Our Men and Women have weekly Bible Studies from 7:00-8:00pm on Wednesday evenings. These studies are a great way for brothers in Christ and sisters in Christ to take a mid-week breathe from business of life, be refreshed and encouraged by the other believers and most of all the Lord, through His Word.
Our men meet downstairs in the Men's Bible Study room and our Ladies meet together upstairs in the main Auditorium. We would LOVE to see you there!
We also have a Tuesday evening Dig Deep class that dives deeper into the early History of the Church as well as digs into the Doctrines of Scripture in a classroom teaching setting. This is great for both seasoned mature and newly growing followers of Christ!
Community Groups
We believe scripture clearly teaches that we were created to be in community. We see parts of this principle throughout the scriptures.
There's nothing like being connected to a group of believers to do life with. As you study the Bible together, encourage and pray for each other, and to build relationships within your group, you will be in a position to experience Community the way you were created to.
FBC Community Groups launched in Sept. 2014 and we've continued to see groups growing together in the Lord year after year.
Our Community Groups meet Sunday evenings at 6:00pm in various homes and we also have a Community Group that meets at the church building.
Nursery & Check-In Security
At First Baptist we understand the importance of creating a safe and secure nursery environment for your child. If you're a first time guest, please allow a few minutes to get signed in to our secure check-in system.
In the First Baptist Nursery your child will be ministered to with songs, Bible stories, playing and more. We don't look at children's ministry, even in the nursery, as just a babysitting service. Our goal is to help work along side of parents in raising not just good kids, but Godly kids for Jesus.
Sports Ministry
We offer Men's Basketball each Monday from
6:00pm-7:30pm. This is a ministry for Men wanting to get out for some weekly exercise, fellowship, and brotherly competition on the court.
We also have Adult Co-Ed Volleyball on Thursdays from 6:00pm-8:00pm. We run leagues January through May and Open Gym nights June through December.
Sports are a great way to both strengthen physical care as well as spiritual care through relationship building, bible devotions, and prayer together in community.
